Extend to Beginning, Tap Extender Window

The Tap Extender window appears after you tap in the tempo. You should try to begin tapping at the first beat of the first measure you want converted. However, the music may not start at the beginning of a measure, or you may have trouble tapping right on the first beat. In these cases, check the Extend to Beginning checkbox. This will automatically extend your tapping to the beginning of the audio file based on the average tempo of your tapping. This may result in the beginning of the generated MIDI file being silent so that the first beat you tapped lines up with the beginning of a measure.
