MIDI File Usage: Notate
Use the drop-down list box to manually select the key of the music. Click on the Speaker button to hear a triad representing the Key you specify. If you do not know the key or the music changes key, leave this control set to the default of Auto Detect. This will allow intelliScore to determine the predominant key and write it to the MIDI file when it converts your music. The Key and Major/Minor settings are automatically updated after running the converter if you do not click the Stop button. You will need to save the project to retain this information in the project. Key detection is disabled in live performance mode.
The first section shows music as it would appear without an appropriate key signature.
The second section contains the correct key signature of D-flat major.
