Minimum System Requirements
  • 1 GHz or faster processor (dual-core or better recommended).  The key component affecting intelliScore's conversion speed is the processor, so the faster, the better.  The processor has no effect upon conversion accuracy.
  • Windows 8, 7, or Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) with 1 GB of RAM, or Windows XP (32-bit) with 512 MB of RAM
  • Mouse or compatible pointing device
  • CD-ROM drive to install the program or an Internet connection to download the program
  • Windows compatible sound card that supports recording of 16-bit wave files at 44100 Hz and plays MIDI files following the General MIDI standard
  • Speakers or earphone

  • Sequencer software to edit MIDI files
  • Notation software to convert MIDI files to sheet music
  • MIDI interface and MIDI instrument to play MIDI data
  • CD-ROM drive for playing audio CDs containing music to be converted by intelliScore

    Hard disk space

Your hard disk will need space to store your audio files.  This can be substantial depending on the number, length, and format of these files.  The table below will give you some idea of how much wave file storage you would need for each minute of music depending on the recording settings you use.  MP3, WMA, and AAC files are compressed and consume less space but have lower quality than uncompressed files such as wave files.  The rows in italics show the preferred minimum settings.  The wave file settings in the last row are equivalent to the digital recordings from an audio CD.
